I want candy!

Here's a card I made for a blog challenge. I really want to win what she's offering, so I just had to participate even though I don't have any room left on my table and my hands are all glued together :D

I used a dryembossed card that I colored in with chalks (love those chalks!) I silverembossed a saying and mounted it in the middle with 3-D tape. I like those suttle elegant cards that are not too overworked. Think it suits my style better. The quote is just hilarious.

Challenge #5 - sweet 'n sassy

Now I am totally exhausted. Hope you liked seeing my new cards. Maybe one of them will find its way to your mailbox ;)

Unfortunately the light sucks in my hobbycorner and the photos don't get any better than this. The card is blue and white, not this yellowish tone.

Oh, the challenge was to create a card using bling. I have both the little stones and bling cardstock (+ some extra glitter in the embossingpowder)

Challenge #4 - ett trykk

Use something that otherwise would've been thrown away. Only cardstock and patterned papers are allowed, no stamping.

Sweet 'n sassy - challenge #4

Phew, it's almost midnight here and I'm still going strong. I must admit I've never had so much fun making cards! If you've never done a challenge then you should try it. Makes you think out of the box. Here's my very different card using olive green, red and chocolate. The card has a fold to the right of the middle, where the green part overlaps.

Love my new cuttlebug items. They were just waiting to be used.

Sweet 'n sassy - challenge #3

A paper PIECING challenge. Here's mine. Dresstamp from pink cat studio. The ribbon unknown.

Challenge #3 - ett trykk

Here's a challenge from the Norwegian blog. This time we were supposed to make a card without any embellishments. Patterned/embossed papers and text were ok. I absolutely adore this stamp from Inkastamps. The paper I got at the sale at Stämpelgården and the text I printed out myself. That text is an example of texts found in the box I got at my last shopping spree.

Sweet 'n sassy challenge #2

The challenge was to make a card using a sketch that they provided. I used my new cute stamp from Whipper snapper which I colored in with chaalks. I made the small icecream by stamping up parts of the stamp and filling in the rest by hand. Then I colored it in, versmarked it and poured some clear embossingpowder over it, making a little tag. I also used blue bling cardstock for the left part of the card. On the last picture the bling looks greenish, but it's not. It's blue, matching the rest of the card. Hope you like it :)
