Penny Black saturday week 100 bloghop
Penny Black saturday challenge are having their 100:th challenge this week. To celebrate they are hosting a bloghop with lots of prizes. I just had to join :) Barely made it sitting those few moments to make the card, but I reallly wanted to join so I pushed through. Otherwise I've been crosstitching and jewelrymaking in the sofa in a half sitting/half laying position.I haven't been able to sit and make any cards and those few moments I can I want to make items for my DT positions. So this is an exception, but I will show you some jewelry and other things I can make in the sofa.
It has been quite a while since I made any cards using PB stamps. Some of my poor PBs haven't even seen ink yet, poor things (especially the clear stamps like the ones I've used here). I used stamps from three different sets:
Hedgie from "garden friends"
Mice from "micey day"
Text from "wonderful"
The challenge was a sketch and I'm very happy how I used it. I turned it 90 degrees and used the rectangle panel to have an image in. It's not something I usually do. Don't think I've ever had a card with two different images like this. I just love the pink and turquoise togethe and I added little pieces of sheer ribbon to the sides of the mice. Oooh, I need to add glitter to the flowers. Will do that and upload better pics tomorrow :D
I only used one patterned paper and two pieces of cardstock, but I think it looks ritcher than it really is. I used my new scalloped circle nesties and embossed the pink circle with a cuttlebug embossing folder. The text is just stamped with black and then I coloured it in with pink and turquoise promarkers - same as I used to colour the animals. Easy, huh?

Have a grrrrrreat anniversary
Yesterday I managed to finish a card using a sketch from the friday sketchers blog. They are celebrating their 2:nd anniversary and have a bloghop with great prizes on each DT member's blog so I wanted to join.
Here's the bloghop list:
Jacque
Jeanette
Janneke
Claudia
Aud
Inge
Carole
Tanja
I have been a bit bad at using my sweetpea stamps and this sketch was perfect for those images. It really allows the image to stand out. This is the first time I think that I've coloured in the background aswell. And browns are not my fav colour, but I think it's not bad. I also managed to use some fibers I've had for years that accentuate the colours.
I also want to thank Dee for a candy I won on her blog. I haven't entered many candies lately as I've been feeling bad, but yesterday I bloghopped a bit and found more candies for you to join. You can see the may candy list HERE.

Happy 50:th Julia
Just a quick post showing you a necklace I made for Julia's 50:th birthday. I sent her a little of everything, some of these things I've already showed you; a brooch, a needleholder and a card. I wanted to make a special card with her name on it, but I just didn't have the energy. I couldn't even take an old card and add her name, so I decided it was more important that it got to her on time. I chose the bunny card as it's a little different and it fit the box I sent the rest in perfectly. Otherwise I would've sent it in an envelope and things might have broke. So this was the best solution. I sent it exactly 3 days before her b-day and it takes 3 days within europe. I'm so glad this was the time the postalservices decided to work in my favour.
I also made her a bookmark with a nice saying I thought suited her and an angel necklace. I asked which colours she preferred and she said "plum". Think this counts as plum?
I also want to let you know that only one person has claimed the sweetpea blogcandy. As I had three winners in total I will re-draw on monday if I don't hear from the two winners by tomorrow. So keep your finger's crossed if you entered and want to win :)
I'll be back soon with a sweetpea card I finished today. It was soo hard, but I've missed cardmaking so much so I pushed through. It's a very simple card, but as always I want the sweetpea stamps to speak for themselves.
