Hats off to you
Today I would like to show you my first card using one of Nikki Burnette's stamps called Telsa from sweetpea stamps. I really like the edgy look of this stamp and thought it would be wonderful to use for a male card. I used blues and green which is my fav colourcombo for male cards. The stamp is coloured with promarkers, cut out and mounted on a piece of patterned paper. All papers are from basic grey. I didn't want to overwhealm the card with too many embellies, but still wanted to use flowers. I think the buttons help to take the cuteness away from the flowers. The sentiment is handwritten and I thought I was very clever when I came up with it.
Challenges for this card:
All sorts - recycle (I used a button that came with a piece of clothing)
Basic Grey - flower power (I used papers from BG's line Marjolaine)
Crafty catz - flowers
Everybody art - my fav thing (I used my beloved promarkers, but also BG papers)
Papertake weekly - sketch
Stamptacular - whateva
