It was so much fun to make a card again. It was hard in the beginning, but after a while I got in "the flow". I had forgotten how much fun it was! I had a friend that visited over easter and then I got the stomachflu so I haven't been crafting for weeks. The horror! lol.
I still have some Whiff of joy images that my friend sent me. They are mostly Christmas/winter images but they are stamped on aquarelle paper so they work really well with my tombows. I've been playing around with my tombows lately since they leave such a different look from promarkers which I usually use. And there is nothing wrong with having some extra Christmas card at the end of the year, am I right?
I made a card using Charlie for the Whiff of joy challenge. The challenge was a great sketch that I think I interpreted pretty well. I used small plastic pebbles I won in a candy a while back as snowballs. The pretty paper speaks for itself. I'm quite proud of the way I made the imagesquare. Instead of layering it on a bigger piece I dryembossed a square around Charlie and coloured with drychalks to make the image stand out more.
I also noticed that the colours I had used workes great for the sukkersott challenge blog. The challenge was to use the colours green, blue and brown.
So what do you think of my first card after being sick?
